Selesai juga update vista servie pack 1. beberapa kali coba update ke sp1 gagal teyuz ( code 80244018 ) mandeg di 40-50% (update online) begitu juga dengan update offline, akhirnya setelah tanya2 ma om gugel nemu juga solusinya. linknya disini

ringkas nya sbb (coz entu bhasa inggirs) :

1. Pastikan service Windows Update dan Background Intelligent Transfer Services berjalan (started) bisa dilihat di run>services.msc

2. Windows Update set ke automatic :

3. Buka Internet Explorer > Tools > Internet Options > Security >Trusted Sites Zone, > Sites > Hilangkan tanda centang di Clear the Require server verification ( https: ) for all sites in this zone option > di Add this Web site to the zone: text box, ketikkan
   https://*.microsoft.com, da kemudian klik Add. klik OK.

4. Klik Custom Level, kemudian pilih Enable untuk item dibawah :
   Download signed ActiveX controls.
   Download unsigned ActiveX controls.
   Initialize and script ActiveX controls not marked as safe.
   Run ActiveX controls and plug-ins.
   Script ActiveX controls marked safe for scripting.
   Klik OK, dan klik OK sekali lagi untuk keluar dari Internet Properties.

setelah reboot n selese instalasi service pack 1 ternyata theme GlassGlow q balik ke tampilan classic (lihat gambar 4). Itu dikarenakan file uxtheme.dll, themeui.dll dan shsvcs.dll yang telah ter patch sebelumnya (untuk menjalankan theme GlassGlow ketiga file tersebut sebelumnya harus di ganti dengan file yang sudah dimodifikasi (patch) terlebih dahulu) ditimpa oleh file original dari SP1. Untung saja punya tuh pacth yang buat SP1, jadi tinggal di ganti aja file originalnya (sebelumnya harus di take ownership dahulu) akhirnya theme GlassGlownya jalan lagi deh. hehe… Oya, Waktu boot jadi tambah cepet..
